Sulage, his biggest rival in the race had come to save him. Getting jean le cam's boat close enough for cavin to get on board was tricky. The strong wind and huge waves made it hard to manoeuvre close to the raft. Gavin watched jean le Cam's boat wrestle the elements set in possible daretin bato. He knew jean would be back for him as soon as the seas quieted.
