The Role of Evangelical Christians in the Rapture

I have heard that there are a lot of evangelical Christians that are huge supporters of Zionism. Because they, there's just so many more evangelicals and their interest in the state of Israel is that Jews will return there and then the rapture will happen. Can you speak to like if you know how that even like where that, I guess like solidarity with Zionism came about and also what they believe, like the whole rapture thing?
