Lore
The Case of Herman Petrillo
Stanley B. Phillips was an undercover agent working for the US Secret Service in 1938. He infiltrated a group of men who were counterfeiting fake money, and then killed one of them. The victim's widow had insurance policies taken out in her husband's name; she was set to receive a massive payout. A trio of Philadelphia police detectives noticed something odd on Alfonso's autopsy report. They also found huge amounts of arsenic that they'd never seen before.
