The Great Man of Economic Policy of the 20th Century

All the ideas that people came up with in the 20th century, none of them succeeded in their extreme forms. What succeeded was an amalgamation of cobbled together ideas from all of those. I think we need to instead cobble together things that work. We need to cross the river by feeling the stones.
