Merc's Performance in Qualys Was Compromised
Mercedes were marginal in the top 10, Miss ADs in Qualy. Lewis ended up getting a bit tied up in traffic and just didn't get his tyres warm enough for the initial sector one - that's where he lost out to Russell. They need to improve that quality pace just to give them a good start and chance in the race really. And obviously they don't want to decorate the race pace too much because then you go into a Ferrari situation where they're very look very good in qualifying,. but in the race pace, Steve is nowhere and as you saw this weekend.
