When Perfectionism Is Unhelpful
A lot of perfectionism is self-induced. Are you always looking for some sort of reassurance? Are you spending an excessive amount of time planning or making lists for things? Or are you postponing things that need to be done? Do you prioritize smaller tasks that aren't really that relevant? So those are kind of the behaviors you might be looking for to recognize that maybe those behaviors are not that helpful.
