There was pre-acid test. Then on Jerry's birthday in August 1st of 1965, we all took acid except Pigman. He never did. Right about then we fell into the acid test and things got way different real fast. There was that phase and that phase lasted through our first record,. That was a couple of years there, 65 to 67.
