What he is interested in both is explaining how we got to this place. How did mankind develop this idea that we had the free choice? And more importantly, that we are therefore, on the basis of that free choice, morally responsible for our actions. They're very long, so there's a lot here, but i'll try and get the most relevant parts i can.
