How Did You Get Into the Digital Payments Business?
While at the call center, MCB was doing MCB mobile, which was probably the first database mobile application in Pakistan. So when MCB decided to do their branchless banking, they asked me if I would like to lead that. And that was when I got introduced to digital payments or digital financial services. We were one of the leaders in the digital wallet space with a visa debit card attached to it. Like easy pass a jazz cash came in, UBL only, but we were at that time, the leaders in this area.
