It always bothers me that like someone is getting credit for something that they actually didn't come up with right but I don't think it would bother me to the same extent if if they paid someone $500 or something for that joke and then they published it. And so when you're stealing something it's kind of like fuck you but if it's fair market working with it then I don't know. As a writer that's getting paid to do that I think you kind of accept that even if this joke turns into a banger and tons of views and all of these good things come from ityou've accepted that you're not going to get credit for that joke.
