The Role of Local Causes in Rock Formations

Some rock layers turn out to be just astonishingly widespread where you just think this much of the same rock everywhere needs basically a global cause. Now it could be that in the flood, there are some weird conditions locally that produce weird deposits. We can't rule that out. But if you're thinking in terms of sort of the big story, right, I would expect post-flow deposits because they're not from a global flood,. They're going to be more localized.
