What Is the Book of Abraham?
Many of the astronomical concepts and phrases in the book of Abraham text and Fek Simli translations appear to come directly from Thomas Taylor's book. Some people of Joseph Smith's day also believed in the progressive orders of orbs and the intelligences that inhabited them. The problem again is that this is another example of parallel mania, which is where apologists try to find anything that could possibly connect the book of Abram to being an ancient source.
