The names that we're using today were actually coined by Victor Galenko in Ukraine in his work in socionics. He was intrigued or bothered by why is it, you know, socionics is like the Russian Slavic Eastern European version of type and then we have the Myers-Briggs version of type. And many of the type descriptions line up and they're very, very similar. But there are some which are very different.
