The Prisoner's Story

After days of negotiations and no break in the deadlock, prisoners began building defences. Carlos was a giant of man and well respected by the other inmates. He took it upon himself to try to protect the forty two hostages with the help of a number of muslin prisoners. By the end of the twelfth of september, fears were growing that the stand off would end in violence. Video tape captures the moment the raid began.
