The idea here is that it is a reborn Mortal Kombat universe. The press release says that has quote been created by the fire God, Luke Kang. I kind of feel like we're burying the lead just a little bit in that it's not just the next Mortal Kombat game that it's called Mortal Kombat one. And that I think is a is a bold flag in the sand to say, Hey, we're stripping away things and going back to the roots.
