Some Democrats have made it quite clear that passage of a business tax cut would also need to be accompanied by an expansion of the child tax credit. We've been expecting some deal of allowing businesses tax relief from these harsher measures from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, he says. And so I think the Republicans are signaling that they would like to see some form of compromise.
