Suicidal Thoughts - Risk Assessment
Dr. Tampi: "We're not limiting ourselves and our possibilities of what we can document just because of convention" She says patients who have suicidal thoughts can also come in a homicide, so you need to assess both of them. And certainly with suicidal thoughts, is it active? Is it passive? Is there intent? Is there a plan? That's the absolute bare minimum.
