The Importance of a Long Baseline
Is there any value in using both of the Lagrange points, like say, use L4 and L5 at the same time to run a baseline between those two points? That's an interesting thought. I suppose if you're looking at something close, where there's not a lot of intervening plasma, potentially even solar system planets, you could have exquisite resolution along that with that baseline. The idea that I really like is you put one at L4, one at L5, and then one at L3. It's a very long baseline, which would give you extraordinary resolution if the plasma didn't ruin it.
