Mummy
The word mummy is basically arabic for mom or mima, which is thi dark material that you see mummies are coated with. And the arabs saw this, and they thought it was a form of bithumen or aspalt, that was these people were being covered in. Do we know? How far back in time are we going when we find the first mummies? Or is that sort of lost forever? Do we not know? Well, i mean, it also depends on how we start defining a mummy!
