The Importance of Confessions in the City of God
I really resonate and relate to the prodigal son stories so when I first got into really I always knew of Augustine but I actually starting to read him which is different and good because living in the fifth century with him reading his works. Found it really fascinating to we're we're talking about Roman Norman nor Roman northern Africa where his father was a Roman and his mother was a native African. Christianity had a lot of origins and beginnings in the early church in Africa and so that's helpful for a context as well.
