And yet while courts try to stop the Trump administration from axing government workers, hundreds of thousands of federal employees are going without paychecks. And the Affordable Care Act subsidies Democrats are fighting for are what stands between millions of Americans and even higher health care prices. To discuss how the shutdown and the subsidies fight are affecting rural Americans, I spoke to Wisconsin Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin.
