Building a Data Team

I studied physics, but I grew up coding all the time. So like I have a little bit of weird background. And so I very intentionally in the earliest days of building up a data team, I was very intentionally put that like the role description is data engineer. Because my feeling was if I hire a data engineer, who's also like kind of like entrepreneurial and cares about the business, then they can sort of like build a platform while doing analytics.
