The Sheenin Zeppelin
German engineer Franz Kruckenberg designed a train car that was shaped like a bullet. The sheenin Zeppelin reached 143 miles per hour on its first test in June 1931. It had been designed to shuttle 44 passengers at one time but couldn't handle tight curves or high speed. Because of the light weight and rear axle, it required just over a mile of track to stop.
