Governor bowden in boston raised money from boston merchants to create a private army, more than four thousand men. Daniel shaise and the other resistance leaders decided to seize the arsenal before the governor's army could get to it. Dan bullan says most americans whoave heard the story at all have a vaguer anding. Some farmers launched an insurrection for some reason, demonstrating the need for a stronger federal government.
