The Development Lag Is a Long Period of Time

The development lag is a long period of time. You very well could work a year, two years on something and then put it on the shelf. So that's what happened. I know a lot of guys and girls that are actually out there finding land,. getting it all packaged up for the home builder for the family. There's a whole industry around. But here's the thing that I think is going to happen or is happening: New construction is your class A property. It's where town is growing to. And as inflation continues to eat the bottom out of everybody's gas budget and grocery budget, you're going to see a lot more delinquency in your class A properties.
