Isn't It Splagma?

The word splagma refers to this gut level emotion, that pity that just kind of like, consumes your be. Jesus is talking less about an action you choose and more about an emotion you can't control. And it was when i experienced the radical grace of the good samaritan toward me, that's when i became a loving person toward others. We love not because he told us to but because he first loved us.
