Can we explain why rational choice wouldn't be right? I mean, you sort of defined it kind of narrowly, but couldn't we just expand the definition of rationality a little bit? And even if from the outsider's point of view, someone was acting irrationally, maybe from their perspective, given their values, could we figure out a way in which they're acting rationally? Or is that just not the right way to go in some big picture way? Well, that's how I started. So I brought ethics in an ethical considerations as part of the preference set of people. Those norms that people were guiding people and affected their preferences were often socially constituted, not just individually constituted
