Is the Brain a Deterministic System, Like a Digital Computer?

i wanted to know if the brain is a deterministic system or stocastic. I couldn't, if you look at papers, and nobody ever directly answers that question. And so i just went into a random lab in giha with this naive question. The first recording from primary visual cortex was found by hugh and weasel.
