Formula one is supposed to be the best of the best and it is an engineering sport first and foremost. People watch formula one because it's the pinnacle why am i going to watch some sub league? Formula One already does this has done for ages fiddle bricks mass dampers das brick you name it any number of innovative solutions to engineering problems are generally looked at very rapidly by the fia if they're perceived to give uh an advantage that will be expensive for other teams to catch up to magically they're ruled illegal, says F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone.
