How to Compound Solutions in Business

All our problems are compounding. If you tackle just one of those problems in your business and in your life, just one, that will make all your other problems easier. And overwhelming solutions can also make all the other challenges of problems less overwhelming, easier to deal with. In business, tackling one little stresser in your life could actually make everything else a little bit easier. Two, focus should be uncomfortable. Uncomfortable focus, real focus. What is that one goal, the one project, the one strategy you have to say you ought to say no to a bunch of other good things that might be working as well? I know it is for mei as soon as i heard

Speaker 1
Sometimes this happens more clearly than others. A lot of times we don't feel this, but they're sometimes when we're really overwhelmed and stressed, and we feel it, right? All our problems are compounding. I'm taking a lesson from philip the great, alexander the great's father, philip. I was acto this on o po cast o called how to take over the world, was recommended by my friend nick. Spectually, really good. I enjoyed it. One of the things philip was really good at was taking all of these problems around him that were starting the compound. He's being attacked from this direction, in this direction, from the north and the south and the west. And instead of trying to figure out the whole piece of the buzzle, he chose one problem and he nailed it. He found a solution, and he tackled just one as fast as humanly possible, which we'll talk about again in a second. Solutions also compound. Meaning if you tackle just one of those problems in your business and in your life, just one, and you tackle it fast and hard and right away, and you focus on it, that will make all your other problems easier. It compounds on itself, just the way problems compound to be more problematic and stressful. And overwhelming solutions can also make all the other challenges of problems less overwhelming, easier to deal with. You freed up mental ban with that sort of thing. So you can see where i'm going with this. In business, tackling one little stresser in your life could actually make everything else a little bit easier. Two, finishing that one project that you know you need to get done, focusing on it, finishing it as fast as you man be possible, makes everything else just a little bit easier and more manageable as well. So that strategy number one, you'll see how this fits into the overall picture in a second strategy. Two, focus should be uncomfortable. Uncomfortable focus, real focus. I was listening to a pie cast with remet seti, author of i will teach you to be rich. He is a pi cast. Is really great. I like him. And he is a multi seven, fig, eight, nine, 20, idon't no. He is really successful. Antmor and he was saying, i also lack focus. I struggle with this. I know i should, i tell my team of like a hundred people at this point, like, focusis our thing. But then i might well, we got to do this other thing, or we should also do this other thing. It's small, i won't take up that much time. And like, your's our main two or three focuses and whatever. O real focus ramit says, should actually make you feel uncomfortable. You're not just putting aside the distractions in your day, the bad things, the projects you know don't make money, you know won't grow your business, that are the bad you're not just saying no to the bad things that threaten to take over what you should be focusing on, your business. But you're also saying no to some good things, some things that are making money, some things that are growing your audience, some things that do help you and make you happy. You're saying no to those things so you can pursue your number one goal, your number one focus. Not three. You're one. What's the one domino that will help all the other dominoes fall down? This idea of compounding solutions, right? What is that one goal, the one project, the one strategy you have to say you ought to say no to a bunch of other good things that might be working as well. And that's uncomfortable. I know it is for mei as soon as i heard say this, kneww in my heart what my number one thing was, id just knew. A. I nat the journal at the brain stor i knew. But the reason it hurt all the more when i heard him say that is because i had not been doing the uncomfortable level of focus. I've been focusing on it, sure, but also, like two or three other good things, like dew and blog, not my focus, by the way.
