How to Treat a Sick Trauma Patient
In a really sick trauma patient, why not just bind the greater trocanters who won't say bind the pelvis? Forget about even examining to see if they're unstable or not. Put a pelvic binder on that patient and worry about it later. If you could shoot a portable x-ray and look at it in your trauma room, that kind of replaces the knee to examine the pelvis really at all.
