The Council of Constantinople 553 was a dispute between Pope Vigillius and Pope Peter II. The event served to illustrate that councils were superior to popes, thereby challenging the Vatican councils one into on papal supremacy. In this presentation we're going to look at Dr. Brian Tierney's claims about papal infallibility in history as well as his views on pre-nysine papacy. We'll also talk about why some Catholic scholars who are saying things that go against Catholic teaching are dismissed by people on the internet.
