The Effect of External Tracheal Compression on the Trachea
There is external compression on the trachea, that's the first obvious thing. It can't be an exogenous substance because it's not inside thetrachea. The conversation to have is the DDX for external tracheal compression. I really don't think this is an infectious process. Then you ask the question, could it be some form of cancer, like a lymphoma? And here we can think about Jack's amazing figure for media, spinal masses.
