The Mysticism of Aristotle
Pseudo-dynesius was the father of Christian mysticism. It means secret or esoteric, but we can start to see how it might have evolved further to mean something more like mystical. Pothane doesn't actually have anything like the range of meanings which we associate with the term experience. In fact, ancient Greek just doesn't have a word for experience. And we must conclude neither is pseudodionecious. Now this is a tricky and fascinating subject to which we shall return in later episodes.
