The Effects of Elevated Platforms on the Immune Response
This is a genetically engineered fluorescent protein whose fluorescence increases in the presence of calcium and increased cellular calcium is a proxy for neuronal activity. They show that this elevated platform standing for just three minutes a day for a couple of days it's sufficient to increase plasma cell production. The effect of it on the immune response is dependent on the sympathetic nerve so if you take a mouse and you de-nervate their splenic nerve and then you put them on the platform it has no effect.
