With a background in the police and military, it came at a certain skillset. It's actually in dealing with people, dealing with crisis, dealing with uncertainty. I always remember in my probation, there was a nasty car crash. There was lots of bystanders, no ambulance, we were the first union on scene. And everybody looks at you. You get out of the car. "I've no idea what I'm going to do, but I know I need to do something"
