Heroin and the Problem With Addiction
I'd rather have someone be able to like go use heroin in a safe space than buy like fentanyl cut with gabapentin and diphenhydramine. It's a very risky experiment. But I mean, before we ended up with this, like, we weren't having 100,000 people die every year. Those could have all been treated. The US government destroyed the world opium supply, which they made heroin from in the early 2000s. And so when people were using heroin, like our rates of heroin use haven't really changed. Everyone says heroin, there's no heroin anymore. It's just fentanyl.
