The Power of Being Vulnerable in Preaching

When you're honest, people feel it. And when you're not honest, they can tell too. That is the honesty that helps you connect emotionally to readers. The second piece of writing advice I received came from a minister whose name I've forgotten unfortunately. But he was talking about the power of being vulnerable in sermons. He said, when I get to the bottom of me, I find you. In doing so, I have found people like you, like coding others who's like, ah, I can relate. So those are the best pieces of writing advice she received.
