Is JK Rowling a Turf?
JK Rowling came out as a turf when she announced her support for a tax expert who has used offensive and exclusionary language in regards to transgender folks. A judge ruled Maya Forstater's values are not worthy of respect in a democratic society. She lost her job at the Center for Global Development after making tweets that opposed government proposals to reform the Gender Recognition Act, which allowed people to self-identify as opposite sex.
