The Importance of Confirmation in Claims

The claim requires confirmation, because it on its own isn't confirmation for anything beyond someone may to claim. In many cases, the fact in the matter is simply a claim made by one person that is repeated by other people. Not every historical or medical claim is true, but some of them are, which means claims are evidence.
