How to Buy a New Company?

When you are buying a deal, how's the team made aware that a new company is coming in? Or like, how does that work? That works as I do the majority of the sourcing and diligence work on the front end. Most of what we have bought historically has been on market. All the same brokers that I bought businesses from over the years are the ones who I talk with on a regular basis about what they're selling. And then as of late, we've been doing a number of distressed transactions. When they are in need of a workout, we get a phone call to play a cleanup group.
