David Rothkopf: Saudi decision to enter into seal with the Chinese and Iranians reflects their desire to diversify sources of security support after our ignobinius withdrawal from Afghanistan. He says China clearly does not want a war in the Persian Gulf, but they're willing to try it because of diminished confidence in the United States. The deal also includes an enormous package of goodies like artificial intelligence guided solar power that's important for them too," he adds.
