The Importance of Supplements for Immune Function

There are a few key micronutrients that are required for proper immune system function. Those eight are vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin D, folate, also called folic acid, iron, selenium and zinc. We really should not be relying on supplements because we can get these things from our diet. There's better to get it from our diet versus supplements because there's better absorption and bioavailability.
