I Don't Have a Photographic Memory

Sarvode says there is no new ocean forming in east africa right now. This could happen over millions of years, but not soon enough for us to see it. How does photographic memory work? Is it something people are born with, or can some one develop it later? sarvode: "I am a very forgetful person. I tend to forget names"
