In the 1970s if you called yourself a socialist, you would automatically look to be in part of the working class. Now that's not the case now and so solidarity becomes much more difficult as a result. I think there still are enormous numbers of people who would call themselves socialists. But they don't, they're much less likely to join any, any organization in any, in any mass way.
