Arlow: She moves from being this kind of passive a version of herself in the marriage to really stepping into a different kind of powerand she never was a victim. Esledo: I don't get the sense that she was ever comfortable sitting with her girl friend and chatting about how she felt, having those heart to hearts. Andrea: The role of analyst probably fit her well. It is kind of interesting she ended up in sort of a caretaking role of the analysans who came her,. whereas she had difficulty with her own children in that kind of roll.
