Is There a Sabbatical for Elders?

The elders serve in our church for three years. Then they're reaffirmed, perhaps by the congregation, they can serve for an additional three years. But that provides a good opportunity to be able to rest and ejus. I think that sort of sabbath principle is a good thing wherever you find it. We do understand that we can call pastoral staff to work here for a limited time that we wouldn't recognize as an elder. So i don't, i have no limit. I'm just at some point terminated by god's will. The way we understand is if someone ifa part of their calling to us as a congregation is to serve us full time in an eldership
