The State of Martial Law in Oklahoma
The city of tulsa was split about this action. Some did support it, and there were newspapers who saw it as necessary action against the invisible empire of the clan. In november nine 23, the legislature impeached and removed governor walton from office for violations of habeas Corpus. And the state of martial law in tulsa ended. But none the less, the clan was significantly beaten back and largely retreated
