i think you can't expect to understand a movie, a hollywood movie. I was trying to do that, probably at b one level in french, and it was too hard. And i didn't even have sub titles. So, ye, it's not about expectations. If you're watching kind of older hollywood movies, chances are, especially if you're italian, you probably have seen it on tv dubbed,. so you already know the story m and now you're just discovering it in english. But yet, you're not starting from scratch, not starting from zero.
