The Logos and the Cosmos

For the Greeks, logos was the impersonal, harmonious and divine structure of the cosmos. It served as a kind of intermediary between the immaterial world of forms and the material objects of earthly existence. Because of this logic that ran through the world, we can have knowledge of things as they are because everything points to transcendent stuff.
